Dental Hygiene & Registered Nursing Admissions

Special applications (separate from the standard college application) for those students who have completed the prerequisites and are eligible to apply are available online every year beginning November 15 and ending on January 31. A new class is selected once a year for each new Fall term.

Pre-Dental Hygiene or pre-Registered Nursing majors who have yet to complete the prerequisite courses and desire a counseling appointment need to submit the Chabot College application for admission online. After applying you must also submit official transcripts from all colleges attended to Admissions and Records. Once these two requirements have been completed, you may then schedule an appointment to see a general counselor by calling the Counseling Department at (510) 723-6718. Please follow these steps to ensure the counselor’s determination of course equivalency to Chabot courses is documented. Students from other colleges who do not have time to follow these procedures may also seek the advice of their counselor at their college. Chabot College does not have a foreign transcript evaluator on staff. All foreign transcripts (except from the Philippines) must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service.

International Students (F-1 & M-1 Visa) Admissions

The International Student Application and Supplemental Forms, TOEFL results and required documentations for the Fall Semester are due May 15.
