All students must complete and submit a FAFSA application to be considered for all Financial Aid.

If your veteran status is not verified, we may require that you submit a copy of your DD214 to confirm that you are a veteran.

STEP 3: Submit all required paper work

Like all students applying for financial aid, you may be required to submit additional verification information. You can always check what pending forms to submit by visiting CLASS Web.

Veteran Financial Aid FAQ's

Why do I need a DD214?

A: Sometimes the Veterans Administration does not verify a legitimate veteran status.  The DD214 helps the Financial Aid Office verify that you are a Veteran. After we receive this form, we can verify your VA Educational Benefits and distribute your funds.

Do I qualify for VA Educational Benefits or Financial Aid if I was “Dishonorably Discharged”?

A: Unfortunately, no.

Why do I have to bring my dependent fee waiver to Financial Aid, when its already been approved by VA?

A: The financial aid office handles the BOG application and must document a student's eligibility to receive financial aid.
