Financial Aid "Cash for College" Festival

Every February we have our Financial Aid Festival to encourage all Chabot students to complete and submit their FAFSA before the priority March deadline. This Festival is filled with information on Federal Financial Aid, California Financial Aid, and even a $1,000 Scholarship for a Chabot College Student. There are door prizes and friendly Chabot staff and volunteers that will answer your financial aid questions! To participate, students must pre-register or can simply walk in. We strongly advice students to pre-register because it helps us coordinate and plan the resources we will make available to you.  This festival is also open to prospective Chabot students, high schools students, and the community.

Our 2009 Financial Aid Festival Tentative Date: February 21, 2009.   Chabot College students, high school students and parents from the nearby community are welcome.

Mega Day

Every May, the Counseling Division, Student Services and Financial Aid team up to host Mega Day.  Mega Day  is intended to help all Early Decision students plan and register for their first semester at Chabot College. The Financial Aid Office will be there to support prospective Chabot students and current Chabot students by providing information about Financial Aid and assisting students with their FAFSA Applications.

PREPA Conference

Every spring, the Puente Project program, Educational Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS), ASPIRE, the entire Chabot community provide an orientation to students (parents) who have decided to participate in Puente and will be attending Chabot in the Summer/Fall of the incoming school year. Our financial Aid Office will be there to provide financial aid information.

Gladiator Day
