JVS (Jewish Vocation Service) will be utilizing Chabot facilities for this course this summer. Applications are being accepted now and should be submitted through JVS before 04/15/2010. This course is only available to foreign trained nurses with Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) permission to take or have taken NCLEX exam. This is an 10 week class beginning on June 7th until August 12, 2010. Classes are Monday through Thursday; Lecture Monday, Clinical Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday skills lab. 07:00 until 04:00 each day. Apply only if you are available to attend each day without exception.
Students will be required to have an current American Hearth Association CPR card and completed background and drug screen by May 18, 2010. In addition a recent medical and dental examination are required by May 14, 2010. Immunization records must be provided to verify documentation.
Student packets were mailed to all students approved for the summer 2010 program. A mandatory orientation will be held on May 18, 2010 Room 3102 - 9-1:00. Friday 4/23/2010 - emails were sent to all students with link to map and directions (Please note correct orientation room and time above.)
Paperwork is due to the Nursing Program Office Room 2273 on May 18th.
